It was the beginning of her love affair with all things French especially Paris. After running a succesful commercial design firm in her native Chicago, she took some time off to study architecture in Paris. She found herself at the Paris Flea Markets with many treasures she discovered and soon loaded a container bound for home in NYC and Connecticut. Ellen now travels France just like Madeline, as an adventurer, seeking unusual design and decoration.
